Happy Day!!!!!
So i started to look for a place yesterday and didn't realize how expensive its going to be! so my mind started to over think and put stress on me because i was thinking i couldn't afford it! And being broke at the time was starting to really affect my positive views...
As i was looking on the internet my mother walked into my office and pointed something out and i also broke down my living expenses and geeeezzz does that mind ever like to bring you down until you prove it wrong! so when i proved my "inner critic" wrong i now am enjoying this hunt!! =D
With that last night i also messaged someone and apologizing for my drunken behavior many years ago and she responded back to me telling it's great that i'm in a better/healthier state of mind.. so that mind my night even better!
I'm only trying to stay positive and really take it one day at a time and NOT let "the judge" get the best of me.. I know better now and everyday gets to be more calm, strong, smart, and loving...

I sooooo appreciate you sharing your journey with us here on "oursober.com", Lisamarie! And yes, "The Judge"...lol For myself, i found another called "The Hunter". It lurk and prowls awaiting for me to surrender to "The Judge"....and then pounces outta nowhere and proclaims "ahhhh haaaa.....remember when you_____________(fill in the blanks, Michael, of all the dirty, rotten stuff you did). And yes, I do!! These are the 'minions' my addiction uses to poke n' prod me. I am so grateful for the 12 step rooms! For there, i know how to battle and win. As much as i say "the Judge and Hunter know me better than Me....i, too, am learning more about them. For me to deny them is to invite them! Thanks for the important reminder, Lisamarie!
